Gavest thou the goodly wings unto the peacocks? or wings and feathers unto the ostrich (Job 39:13)
There is deep thought beneath every work of God.
Our God is not thoughtless, impulsive or impetuous. God is infinite in His understanding and in wisdom does he all His works. The Bible says about the thoughts and the depth of God’s understanding; “O the depth of the riches both of the wisdom and knowledge of God! how unsearchable are his judgments, and his ways past finding out! For who hath known the mind of the Lord? or who hath been his counsellor?Or who hath first given to him, and it shall be recompensed unto him again? For of him, and through him, and to him, are all things: to whom be glory forever. Amen. (Romans 11:33-36).
There is a thought; and a depth of matchless understanding behind everything God does…no one is up to giving God counsel. He is rich in counsel and His counsel is both exceeding and enriching.
This knowledge and understanding of God’s thoughtfulness and superior wisdom is the panacea for trusting and obeying Him. Except one gains this truth, one may easily construe God as inept or out-of-tune with reality. Consider how the Bible relates this, But the natural man receiveth not the things of the Spirit of God: for they are foolishness unto him: neither can he know them, because they are spiritually discerned (I Cor. 2:14). A natural or rational person can simply not tolerate, retain or explore the wisdom of God; the ways of God is just out of such a person’s reach; way above his thoughts.
Beloved, to gain all God can deliver; we must have the mind and thoughts of God. God makes it clear and definite that man’s thought is far from being his thoughts, as the Bible puts it: God said, “For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways, saith the Lord. For as the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways, and my thoughts than your thoughts” (Isaiah 55:8-9). Except we depart from the way beneath, the path of foolishness that natural man term rational or sensible; we cannot attain the precinct realm of true reality accessible only in God.
Consider this for a moment, in the realm of God’s rational reality, what is not He called as if they were…and they be (Romans 4:17).
Unlike any other in human history, the story of Job illustrated the tug between God and Satan, and Job being unaware of the details around his detriments wondered and wandered in the abyss of his despair until, “The Lord answered Job out of the whirlwind, and said,… Gavest thou the goodly wings unto the peacocks? or wings and feathers unto the ostrich (Job 39:13).
Beloved, it does not matter what life has brought or become, God can provide you with goodly wings to emerge colorfully and victoriously. God says, He provided the goodly wings of the peacock for her…for a definite purpose and a determined end; I can testify that God will provide for the good and necessary purpose for which you and I will require wings for escape, refuge or nurture in Jesus Name.
