The grace of the Lord Jesus Christ, and the love of God, and the communion of the Holy Ghost, be with you all. Amen. 2 Cor. 13:14 KJV
We all need the Grace of our Lord Jesus Christ. Grace was the umpire, the benefactor, and the cheerleader of Christ’s activities on earth. He performed all God’s requirement for His life by the Grace of God. Grace is God’s merit; “the quality of being particularly good or worthy, especially so as to deserve praise or reward” is a requirement in everyone’s life walk to inherit peace and glory.
About Grace in the life and Ministry of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Bible says, “But we see Jesus, who was made a little lower than the angels for the suffering of death, crowned with glory and honour; that he by the grace of God should taste death for every man.” (Heb. 2:9 KJV). Notice, He (Jesus)…by the grace of God should taste death for every man”. Grace enabled Jesus to taste death for every man.
It is of the need and importance of (this) Grace that the Bible says, The (same) grace that was with the Lord Jesus Christ…be with you all so that like Christ we (also) may achieve the plan and purpose of God for our lives.
About the eminent effect of Grace of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Bible recorded that Christ pleased God. While in agony and praying in the garden of Gethsemane, crossed between His (Jesus) will and God’s will, Lord Jesus said, “Father, if thou be willing, remove this cup from me: nevertheless not my will, but thine, be done. And there appeared an angel unto him from heaven, strengthening him. And being in an agony he prayed more earnestly: and his sweat was as it were great drops of blood falling down to the ground. (Luke 22:42-44 KJV). The enabling strength supplied from Heaven to strengthen Him is no doubt God’s merit and grace richly supplied to Him to do the will of God and thereby pleased God.
The Bible further recorded the eminent effect of Grace when by Grace Jesus said, “As thou hast given him power over all flesh, that he should give eternal life to as many as thou hast given him. And this is life eternal, that they might know thee the only true God, and Jesus Christ, whom thou hast sent. I have glorified thee on the earth: I have finished the work which thou gavest me to do.” (John 17:4-6 KJV). Lord Jesus by Grace (Power given to him over all flesh), He finished the work that God gave him to do. Christ had grace to finish the work God assigned him to do.
Beloved, according to the scriptures, “And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us, (and we beheld his glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father,) full of grace and truth. John bare witness of him, and cried, saying, This was he of whom I spake, He that cometh after me is preferred before me: for he was before me. And of his fulness have all we received, and grace for grace. For the law was given by Moses, but grace and truth came by Jesus Christ.” (John 1:14-17 KJV). Grace came to us by Jesus Christ and of the fulness of Christ’s grace have all received…grace for grace. We receive Grace from our Lord Jesus Christ.
May this Grace of the Lord Jesus Christ be with us all in Jesus Name
