In the Beginning

In the beginning God created the heaven and the earth. (Gen. 1:1 KJV)

It is important to God that we both recognize and understand His plan, purpose and pursuit. It is important to God that we are joined, united and fused with Him in His design and designation for us as Man. This cognitive integration, alignment and alliance is the primordial intent of God to have the Earth organized and administrated. God wanted His son to be in charge of His possession and creation.

Consider what God said in the beginning, “And God said, Let us make man in our image, after our likeness: and let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over the cattle, and over all the earth, and over every creeping thing that creepeth upon the earth. So God created man in his own image, in the image of God created he him; male and female created he them” (Gen.1:26-27 KJV)

The creature God that intended to “have dominion”; the administrative jurisdiction over all the earth was Man. Man had authority from God: the legitimacy and competency to act for God on the earth. The Man was Adam, the progenitor and root of everyone who will ever be so described or termed Man on the Earth; and he was identified… the son of God (Luke 3:38 KJV).  The fact that Man (in Adam) was identified as the son of God must incite our reasoning on one end and intrigue our admiration on the other. Did we ever recall, or recognize man was “son of God”?

It must not dismay anyone that God wanted His son (Man) to be in-charge of His Estate and direct His “business”. God said in essence, let the “sons of God” have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over the cattle, and over all the earth, and over every creeping thing that creepeth upon the earth. So God created man in his own image, in the image of God created he him; male and female created he them but the thief identified and described as such in John 10:10 (KJV) came to steal, kill and destroy. That thief was the devil, who by deception; stole Man’s right to administrate the Earth, killed Man by terminating the life type and nature of God in Man and has gone ahead aiming to destroy all that is under Heaven called the Earth. About this present World, the system and administration of the Earth under the devil (now god of this world – 2 Cor. 4:4 KJV) the Bible says…the whole world lieth in wickedness. (1 John 5:19 KJV)

But God has a greater and grandiose plan, to redeem and reinstate Man and recover the Earth. The redemption of Man was in raising (again) the sons of God through Faith in the Son of God; Jesus Christ and restoration of a new Earth in which righteousness reigns. What a joy and a glory.

To be admissible into this new reinstatement as God’s children; every man must now choose and accept God’s great plan through Faith in the Lord Jesus Christ. Consider God’s requirement and design for sonship;  But to as many as did receive and welcome Him (Jesus Christ), He gave the right [the authority, the privilege] to become children of God, that is, to those who believe in (adhere to, trust in, and rely on) His name— who were born, not of blood [natural conception], nor of the will of the flesh [physical impulse], nor of the will of man [that of a natural father], but of God [that is, a divine and supernatural birth—they are born of God—spiritually transformed, renewed, sanctified]. (John 1:12-13 AMP).

The door is opened, and the plan is active, to become sons of God (again) – Praise the Lord.

Made Rich by God’s Grace

That in the ages to come he might shew the exceeding riches of his grace in his kindness toward us through Christ Jesus. Eph. 2:7 KJV

There are exceeding, surpassing, exceptional and incomparable riches in the grace of God towards us. The Grace of God is the clear expression of God’s salvation plan and glorious tribute to His love to redeem us.

According to the Scriptures, “For when we were yet without strength, in due time Christ died for the ungodly. For scarcely for a righteous man will one die: yet peradventure for a good man some would even dare to die. But God commended his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us. Much more then, being now justified by his blood, we shall be saved from wrath through him. For if, when we were enemies, we were reconciled to God by the death of his Son, much more, being reconciled, we shall be saved by his life. And not only so, but we also joy in God through our Lord Jesus Christ, by whom we have now received the atonement.” (Romans 5:6-11 KJV)

God’s outreach to us when we were yet without strength and were enemies of God but were reconciled to God by the death of his Son was the clear expression of God’s grace, a surpassing, exceeding riches inherent to reconcile and reinstate us to God when we were in fact enemies of God is the Grace of God.

By this Grace, we obtained forgiveness of sins and restoration to the inheritance of God, to a nature and culture of God and His Kingdom. The Bible says, For the grace of God that bringeth salvation hath appeared to all men, teaching us that, denying ungodliness and worldly lusts, we should live soberly, righteously, and godly, in this present world; Looking for that blessed hope, and the glorious appearing of the great God and our Saviour Jesus Christ; Who gave himself for us, that he might redeem us from all iniquity, and purify unto himself a peculiar people, zealous of good works. (Titus 2:11-14 KJV). New life and lifestyle are products of God’s Grace in the life of the Believer, we do not only receive the forgiveness of sins by Grace, we are enabled to live a new and righteous life, teaching us to deny ungodliness and worldly lusts, to live a life well pleasing unto God. These are inclusive blessings of the exceeding riches of the grace of God.

Beloved, let us grow in the Grace of God, looking diligently unto this Grace lest anyone fail of it rather let us draw near with unfeigned heart understanding that the Grace of God is for our salvation; the Riches of Grace being exceeding and abounding through faith in Jesus Christ for we are saved by Grace through Faith and that not of ourselves but the gift of God.
