The Hallmark Of Little Children

The Hallmark Of Little Children

But when Jesus saw it, he was much displeased, and said unto them, Suffer the little children to come unto me, and forbid them not: for of such is the kingdom of God.” (Mark 10:14 KJV)

It is God’s innate and urgent desire to Bless His People. All blessings flow from Him. It is in God’s power to Bless and He desires to Bless. Blessing is so dear and natural to God that He exhorts us to Bless and do not curse. The Bible puts it thus, “Bless them which persecute you: bless, and curse not.” (Romans 12:14 KJV).

At some occasion, children were brought to the Lord Jesus and Bible recorded, “And they brought young children to him, that he should touch them: and his disciples rebuked those that brought them. But when Jesus saw it, he was much displeased, and said unto them, Suffer the little children to come unto me, and forbid them not: for of such is the kingdom of God. Verily I say unto you, whosoever shall not receive the kingdom of God as a little child, he shall not enter therein. And he took them up in his arms, put his hands upon them, and blessed them. (Mark 10:13-16 KJV).  It is important to note that, the intent of the children being brought to Jesus was “that he should touch them:” and Jesuswas displeased with the disciples restraining, limiting, deterring, denying, preventing or hindering the children from being Blessed by Him.

We must gain truth and understanding from this account about God’s displeasure, intolerance, irritation, disapproval and discontent to anything or anyone that prevents His Blessing you and I. Jesus, “was much displeased” the Bible says because He greatly welcomes and approves of us (His children) being brought to Him to touch and bless us. Praise the Lord.

It must be borne in mind that just as there were restraints, constraints, obstructions, limitations, distractions, etc. in the way and path of those young children then brought to Jesus to be blessed by Him, so are simile expressions of similar intent that seek to obstruct or deprive our reaching to Jesus for His touch and blessing. We must know to overstep and overcome the obstacles that restrains our reaching or being reached by God for His Blessing. This is very important.

Consider the great story of Abram being called by God, to get out of his country, and from his kindred, and from his father’s house unto a land that God will shew him for instance (Gen. 12:1-3). The nature of the call itself appears both daunting and limiting. How would anyone set out to a place that will be shown or not previously known to him. Many would consider such a call as refutable and irrational but like the restraints put forward to deny and deprive the children from being reached or reaching Jesus, such disclaim to the Word of God designed to Bless one may deny one’s access to being touched and blessed by God and about that God will be very displeased.

To access, obtain and inherit the much desired and needed blessing of God we must like Abraham who by Faith ventured into what was not previously known except that God promised, ventured to follow God to that place where He’s determined to bless us and make us a blessing.

Born of the Spirit 05.16.21

But the spiritual man [the spiritually mature Christian] judges all things [questions, examines and applies what the Holy Spirit reveals], yet is himself judged by no one [the unbeliever cannot judge and understand the believer’s spiritual nature].  (1 Cor. 2:15 AMP)

God wants His children to the spiritually minded. God wants us to be conscious of the elevated and domineering spiritual influence that commands and direct all we see and know. We must be cognizant of the reality of spirituality. Spirituality is essentially a composition of unseen (invisible) realities; a system or realm organized and dominated by un-bodies beings; i.e. beings that have forms but no natural bodies.

The existence of this realm should not frightened us neither should it exonerate our active involvement rather our cognitive participation in it is required to grant us active command and control of events and activities that pertain to us.  The Bible says; “For though we walk in the flesh [as mortal men], we are not carrying on our [spiritual] warfare according to the flesh and using the weapons of man.  The weapons of our warfare are not physical [weapons of flesh and blood].” (1 Cor.10:3 AMP) clearly highlighting Man’s involvement in the physical and spiritual realm. We cannot to be content to walk as mortal men alone, that is being natural and not spiritual.

A notable and pertinent reason why we must be spiritual is because God is a Spirit and we cannot interact with Him including worshipping Him without being spiritual. Jesus said it thus; “God is spirit [the Source of life, yet invisible to mankind], and those who worship Him must worship in spirit and truth.”   (John 4:24 AMP) Notice, the scripture says, God is invisible (not non-existent); it is the erroneous interchange of invisibility with non-existence that has implicated the reality of God’s existence by the natural man. Man was not designed to leave by sight alone rather Man’s total experience is to both participate in the natural and spiritual realm of our existence. When one fails to be spiritually active, such is reckoned to be living after the Flesh (naturally) and as such is spiritually dead. This was what happened to Adam, the first Man when according to the Bible; He disobeyed God and so died. He became spiritually irresponsive and so could not control or direct the spiritual influence about him. He became carnal (natural) and subject to the invisible realm that began to govern him.

God intended and designed our spirituality to grant us permit to interact with Him and power to command and control the events that pertain to us. It is the Holy Spirit of God indwelling a Man that grants the necessary apparatus to interact spiritually.  He (Holy Spirit) absorbs and overrides the carnal nature and allows one to fellowship with God as intended. The presence of the Holy Spirit makes the life in the Spirit (Spiritual life) possible. The Bible says “However, you are not [living] in the flesh [controlled by the sinful nature] but in the Spirit, if in fact the Spirit of God lives in you [directing and guiding you]. But if anyone does not have the Spirit of Christ, he does not belong to Him [and is not a child of God]. (1 Cor. 2:9 AMP)

But seek ye first the Kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you. (Matt. 6:33)

Ranking is the arrangement of items in a specified order. It is the notion of organizing items in a preferential order; to highlight the items on the scale of importance to a specific notice. Ranking creates orderly arrangement so the first item is first in the table of preference.

Where there is no specified order, unqualified items gain undue preference and selection of best in the class becomes greatly impaired. Judgement is obscured and data integrity is murky as there is no sense of order to treat what is first, first. Where there is no order, confusion is imminent.

It is important that we have order in our lives; God does.  The Bible says our “…God is not the author of confusion but of peace…”  (1 Cor. 14:33). Everything God does is succinctly organized that is works so smoothly and peacefully. There is quietness in everything God does that it so noiseless yet very effective. The serial and specific outline of creation typical of our natural environment speaks of the acute sense for order that built the Earth and the Cycles that sustains our Earth. The construction of the Earth rotation in specific and chronological order is the template upon which time and calendar is built. We take cue from the natural order installed by God to define and align our lives and activities on the Earth. What an orderly and efficient system our God built.

God’s design is so granular that any upset of the order triggers massive and extensive regress of the Earth structure with severe and far reaching consequences. Take the depletion of the Earth ozone layer for instance. Man’s industrial and chemical evolution has caused monumental pollution that perforated the protective layer that God in His judgment and wisdom wrapped the Earth with to insulate the Earth’s surface from unnecessary and dangerous rays from the Sun. The same effect is felt in every area where and when Man interfere with Divine and Natural order.

Consider this for a minute, God in wisdom says, “But seek ye first the Kingdom of God, and his righteousness…”; this order is what aligns all other things Man may desire or pursuit. We must gain the wisdom in this ode and live. How true to the calamity and disorder we see and experience in our World today because we violate Divine order. We reverse the order and seek things first and when nothing works or things break we revert to God, if we ever did.

Beloved, let’s re-arrange our lives and activities according to the outline order; God first and like magnetic pull, that serialization of God being first will by auto setting fix and compel alignment of all “these things” or all other things as the Bible says in sequence no other arrangement could comport.

Gain order; put God First.

What Time I Am Afraid 05.02.21

The centurion answered and said, Lord, I am not worthy that thou shouldest come under my roof: but speak the word only, and my servant shall be healed. (Matt. 8:8 KJV)

The Word of God is the basis, source and origin of Faith. Should anyone practice or profess Faith without the Word of God; such practice or profession of Faith is fake, false and void. We must gain understanding of this truth, lest one be spoiled by the whims of the wicked to spoil or deceive. Faith is one’s reliance on the Word of God to accomplish or realize what the Word says.

Notice, the demand or request of the centurion; “…but speak the word only, and my servant shall be healed.”, his hope and faith was upon the Word of God. He was so certain that the Word of God was the cure or need for his need, he hoped or planned to rely upon the Word. By Faith; He sought for the Word of God necessary for his need or situation. Beloved, there is a Word of the Lord for everyone’s need or situation. When one relies (depend or rely) on that Word of the Lord; miracle and salvation are the necessary result.

Concerning having Faith; the type demonstrated and exemplified by the centurion, commended and described as “great faith” by the Lord Jesus; the Bible says, “So then faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the word of God” (Romans 10:17 KJV); like the centurion, he came seeking the Word of God. That was his pursuit. His pursuit was to hear what Jesus would say; he was not so keen on Jesus’ coming to his house as he was on Jesus’ speaking the Word. His Faith was in the Word or better said; his Faith was derived from the Word of God, he trusted that good will result from the Word Jesus would say about the situation: that was his Faith. Truly so; “And Jesus said unto the centurion, Go thy way; and as thou hast believed, so be it done unto thee. And his servant was healed in the selfsame hour.” (Matt. 8:13 KJV).

There is a very important notice we all must gain from the Faith demonstrated and exemplified by the centurion. His Faith was both enduring and historic that Jesus commented to “them that followed, Verily I say unto you, I have not found so great faith, no, not in Israel” (Matt. 8:10 KJV). It was a Faith type, Jesus had looked for but “have not found…, no, not in Israel”; his Faith revealed and proved the timing effect of the Word of God; “…his servant was healed in the selfsame hour “.

The Faith of the centurion proved or revealed that (his) miracle will be delayed or pending should Jesus followed him to his house before speaking a Word about his situation and he was not prepared to have the situation further delayed after all the necessary element is the Word and Jesus does not need to get to his house to speak the Word. This is profound!

Beloved, God can speak into our situation right now if we wait, thirst, pursue, hunger for His Word; “…but speak the word only, and my servant shall be healed.” (Matt. 8:8 KJV). We should never expect God to speak tomorrow or have certain factors be in place as something dramatic happening, the sky turning pink, etc., but as demonstrated by the centurion, the needed element for God’s work is the Word of God for “All things were made by him (The Word); and without him (The Word) was not anything made that was made.” (John 1:3 KJV).  This is the manifest of Faith; locating the Word of God necessary for the situation and miracle one needs; “speak the Word only”. Praise the Lord.
