Glory not Shame

Happy is the man that hath his quiver full of them: they shall not be ashamed, but they shall speak with the enemies in the gate. (Psalm 127:5 KJV)
God does not want His people to be ashamed. It is not the plan or the will of God that His people be ashamed. We, as God’s blessed and privileged people must be informed, aware, mindful and cognizant of this truth to walk in it. It is not the will of God that we be ashamed; rather He causes or ordains, all things to work together for the (eventual) good, profit, honor and glory of those who love Him and are called according to His purpose. This is a mystery.
Life’s course and event may sometimes appear to shame or discredit a child of God; we must be objectionable to any culminate threat or incident that seeks to embarrass or humiliate us as God’s children. We must always be awake to the truth about God’s determined commitment to glorify His people and never to disgrace or shame them. God is committed to our (you and I) being glorified.
Shame, is a painful or disgraceful feeling of humiliation occasioned by weakness or helplessness about an adverse situation often accompanied with dismay or regret. It could be an experience that robs one of a voice or expression being overshadowed by a distressful feeling of disquietedness and candor. It robs one’s ego and dignity in the mud. Life’s course may sometimes be overwhelming with grievous and crushing feeling of pain, anguish or distrust…but as a child of God know this; the eminent plan of God is to Glorify His own and that for evermore. This notice must be resident in the precipice of our cognitive consciousness; God’s will is to glorify His own. This is the Truth. The Bible clearly says, “For whom he did foreknow, he also did predestinate to be conformed to the image of his Son that he might be the firstborn among many brethren. Moreover whom he did predestinate, them he also called: and whom he called, them he also justified: and whom he justified, them he also glorified” (Romans 8:29-30 KJV). We see that God’s determined or prescribed path is that we being modelled, adapted or conformed to the pattern or image of His Son may become justified and glorified. This must be our pursuit.
Yes, we must also be informed of the brutal caprice and quirk of the enemy to discredit the people of God. Notice, it is only to inform us, not to dismay or disturb us. It is a mere notice to advise us of what surrounds or assails us. We must not be disturbed or distracted by the notice rather it is to aid or help us organize ourselves adequately to walk in the truth of God’s commitment to our glory. God is unflinchingly committed to our being glorified as we strive to model or pattern our lives after His Word.
Consider what God says, “Be glad then, ye children of Zion, and rejoice in the Lord your God: for he hath given you the former rain moderately, and he will cause to come down for you the rain, the former rain, and the latter rain in the first month. And the floors shall be full of wheat, and the vats shall overflow with wine and oil. And I will restore to you the years that the locust hath eaten, the cankerworm, and the caterpiller, and the palmerworm, my great army which I sent among you. And ye shall eat in plenty, and be satisfied, and praise the name of the Lord your God that hath dealt wondrously with you: and my people shall never be ashamed. (Joel 2:25-27 KJV) In all life’s course or event, the end of God’s dealing is never to see His people ashamed but to glorify them. Let us walk with God on this note and notice; He will glorify His own. Congratulations

The Arrow of God

For unto you is born this day in the city of David a Saviour, which is Christ the Lord. (Luke 2:11 KJV)
God’s Salvation plan is both grand and epic. It’s founding thoughts and layered wisdom is magnificent. The whole plan and its unfolding are simply dexterous and confounding to the devil, who is the sworn enemy of God and His flagship creation including Man. This plan is confounding and bewildering to the devil, but it has brought us peace on earth and is an evidence of God’s good will to Man. Praise the Lord.
At the blessed and silent entrance of our Lord Jesus Christ, introduced by the God’s Holy angel as Savior, the Arrow of God’s Salvation touched the Earth.
Arrows are fatal instrument of war, designed and determined to inflict lethal mutilation on the adversary and claim victory for the valiant; the key fact that caused the Heavenly host to shout and chorus, “Glory to God in the highest, and on earth peace, good will toward men.” (Luke 2:13 KJV)
To gain grace and truth of the introduction and penetration of God’s precious “Arrow of Salvation”, it is pertinent to pause and comprehend the salutary compliment of the Holy Angel, consider how the Shepherds were approached, “…the angel of the Lord came upon them, and the glory of the Lord shone round about them: and they were sore afraid. And the angel said unto them, Fear not: for, behold, I bring you good tidings of great joy, which shall be to all people. For unto you is born this day in the city of David a Savior, which is Christ the Lord…And suddenly there was with the angel a multitude of the heavenly host praising God, and saying, Glory to God in the highest, and on earth peace, good will toward men. (Luke 2:9-14 KJV). According to God’s Holy angel, he brought, “good tidings of great joy, which shall be to all people”
The relevance and significance of Jesus’ birth; the landing of God’s Arrow to save from the adversary is some good tidings of great joy to all people. The notice therefore was not intended for the Shepherds alone, they were only the first to hear. The angel went further to declare the composition of the good tidings; “For unto you is born this day in the city of David a Saviour, which is Christ the Lord”. Reflect on the angel’s assertion: “It is for you is born this day…a Savior, which is Christ the Lord.” Praise the Lord.
Beloved, the bare truth is God sent Jesus into the Earth to save all people including you and me. “It is for you…” the angel said. This is truly a good tiding of great joy. This must make anyone and everyone truly rejoice…Someone sent by God to save, (heal, deliver, rescue, comfort, teach, etc.) us is ‘finally” here to vanquish the oppressor and make us valiant, conqueror and overcomers, “That we should be saved from our enemies, and from the hand of all that hate us;… that we being delivered out of the hand of our enemies might serve him without fear, In holiness and righteousness before him, all the days of our life.” (Luke 1:74-75 KJV)
Beloved, It is because of you (and me) that Christ born that day in the City of David; A Savior. He came as God’s defending Arrow to save us. Merry Christmas!
